A double page spread to go into a book about summer memories - water fights. Reads: Whenever I hear those dreaded words "hose pipe ban", I always feel a bit sad because one of my happiest childhood summer memories is a huge water fight with my dad in the garden. On one particularly memorable August day, the soaking escalated to an all out war. Most water carrying objects in the house were made use of at some stage. <y dad used his super strength to wrestle control of the hose, but we hit back with a volley of saucepans brimming full with water and classic water guns. Also the balloons left over from my birthday party proved especially devastating filled with water then launched from an upstairs window. After an hour of this, we were soaked to the skin and practically faint from giggling so much! ..... Ah happy days!
